Step 1.
Charge your candles
on the night before a sunny day, place your candles on a windowsill that faces the sunrise. allow them to soak up the sun's rays and charge until sunset. you may need to move them to another window during the day. once the sun has set, put them back in their box or on your altar.
Step 2.
Use your candles
when you feel like you need a little sunshine and the weather isn't cooperating, place a charged candle on a flat surface or in a holder if you have one. light the candle and breathe deeply. then say the chant on your instructions page. allow the candle to burn, watching the gold glitter shimmering and sparkling as the candle burns and the wax melts.
Step 3.
Recharge your candles
once your candle's solar energy is depleted (you'll know when you feel reinvigorated), snuff the flame and allow it to cool before placing it back in the box or on your altar. repeat the charging process to use it again.
